CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (REF. MSC107)
| Seasoned CFO sought for US public listed company: as a key member of Executive Management team, the incumbent will report directly to the President/CEO on all strategic and tactical matters as relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing the group finance function, drive the company’s strategy plans, expansion and tie-in opportunities
- Responsible for the day to day financial running as well as the strategic financial planning which will include all funding requirements for future ventures, investment planning & the implementation of policies, procedures & working practices
- Monitoring of day-to-day accounting operations & financial statements, maintenance of group financial records & internal controls & the monitoring of group financial targets
- US GAAP and IFRS reporting to the preparation of financial statements under all required GAAPs and support of external audit work required
- Involve in the structuring of financing and commercial deals
- Developing financial and governance strategies, financial analysis, budgeting, contract negotiation, forecasting, ensuring compliance to all administrative matters, including legal, audit and tax requirements
- Strategic support to increasing profitability
- Analysis and reporting on market and internal trends and educating senior managers on the information processed
- Leading the business through a period of strong growth predominantly through acquisition; raising debt and equity in order to fund business projects
- Overseeing company information technology development
- Drive a change agenda across the entire finance organization. This role covers both commercial and technical finance and change management. Overseeing group-wide organizational change project from finance perspective; annual operating plan, coordination of forecasts & performance tracking, provision of business analysis and facilitating implementation of best practice tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business; MBA a plus
- A minimum of 12 – 15 years experience in a senior role
- CPA designation with a comprehensive understanding of either the manufacturing or energy sectors in China, and a solid track record of identifying and following through on acquisition targets
- A strong understanding of securitization, as well as experience in dealing with corporate structures and negotiating banking arrangements
- Audit management and hands-on IPO experience
- Highly analytical, qualified with a strong knowledge of treasury and cash management and exceptional commercial awareness
- Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications
- Excellent verbal (English, Cantonese and Mandarin), analytical, organizational and written skills
