RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with USA Headquarter to establish departmental goals and sourcing strategies for business growth
Liaise with internal counterparts in merchandising process including product development, negotiation and execution of management function. Global vendor evaluation
Ensure department’s objectives and KPIs including FOB volume, diversified vendor matrix, new product, and project delivery are achieved
Consolidates and communicate market intelligence and business opportunities to product development team in the retail markets
Oversees and monitors all development projects
Provide leadership and coaching to the merchandising team and suppliers to ensure delivery of annual sourcing budgets and business objectives
Manage team individual performance and develop team and subordinates

REQUIREMENTS:

Min 10 years of experience in sourcing and product development of office products and general supplies gained in MNC trading or buying office with responsbility for sourcing, product development and operations
Solid experience in quality assurance and supply chain management
Strong vendor relationships and management
Proven track record in demonstrating success in recent involvement in globalization program
Able to manage both strategically and tactically with a strong sense of urgency and customer focus
Excellent planning, financial and budgetary skills with demonstrated Profit and Loss accountability
Understand the operations and strategies of the brand along with product needs, cost components and adoption rates
Bachelors degree or MBA preferred. Education experience from overseas University preferred
Familiar with US market with working experience there
